Im selling items on Ebay that i bought from wholesellers. What do i need to do about taxes?

I am planning on selling products from whole-sellers on ebay. I know i need to claim my profit as income but do I need to do anything about Sales tax if I live in PA. I read somewhere i need to apply for a tax id#? do i need to do anything else regarding selling things on ebay? Thanks
