Nicole, it is a scam. I sure hope you did not give them any real important personal information. No legitimate company does business like this. They do not pay people for third person payment and shipping, etc. These days businesses are trying to save money not spend more. And, certainly they do not ask you to cash, accept payments, have you take a cut, then transfer the rest. If you really want a job, why look online where it is just too incredibly easy to lie and cheat. If you are serious go to an employment agency.

I've used it and have been satisfied. Just make sure you read the listings carefully as to size and quality of any gemstones and whether the stones are lab created or natural.

Hello--
First, I think that an important part of helping by answering questions is to compliment what you feel are good answers by others--so we can kind of work together. You have two excellent answers ahead of mine--which sound very accurate.
My take on reading the ad for this business offer is that it is so complicated, it appears they are trying to confuse you.I got lost just trying to muddle through all their stuff they were saying--good tip off that it is shady--

Another reason I am answering is that although I haven't experienced this one, a few thoughts came to my mind that are of value in MANY different similar: One was mentioned--the Phishing. This can, however, vbe not just someone trying to steal your identity, but, and this next is all over the Internet: Trying to build a "list of names" as it has been called even before the Internet. Many services just accumulate lists of people interested in some type of thing. Those lists are valuable, and sold to companies.

The main suggestion that applies beautifully, that many forget, is never let anyone get you in a "hurry". When you hear "time is running out", be suspicious. Also, slow the pace down and take as much time as you need to make decisions. This applies also to gambling casinos--which make much money by getting people to "react" fast, without thinking. Apply this to everything on the Internet.
But, my first lesson on this was years ago by my Dad--if you ever are testifying in Court. If you need time to think out your answer, take it. Getting people to "rush" is a tactic used by all kinds of shady people.

Of course, on business offers, you can make telephone calls, etc and just about get any answer to what is going on.
Remember that not all "rough deals" are dishonest. Some can be 100% honest--but just require a lot of work for what you make--sales stuff is like that. But, sometimes, although difficult, provided it is honest, and you need a job badly, you might opt to take it, and just work like a dog, and make a little much needed money. Sales jobs are sometimes nice money makers for those with the time and strength to work their tail offl. Also, since so many hate the "rejection" that goes with sales jobs, they are not favorites for a lot of people--this gives you the advantage of "not too much competition".
